ECTC BlueOval SK Training Center opens
On June 3, the ECTC BlueOval SK Training Center began officially providing onboarding and training to BlueOval SK employees. Since July 2023, ECTC has provided training for more than 1,000 employees that will work at the battery plant in Glendale.
鈥淓CTC has provided the majority of BlueOval SK鈥檚 onboarding and training at our main campus,鈥 said ECTC Chief Workforce Officer Darrin Powell. 鈥淲ith the training center open, we can continue to offer high-quality curriculum for these high-demand careers, right next door to BlueOval SK Battery Park.鈥
BlueOval SK is creating 5,000 new jobs in Glendale.
